The Consumption Demand Method ™ incorporates five techniques. Taken together they make it possible to develop knowledge as to the ‘who, where, when, how and why ’. It is important to recognise that the Method utilises both quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
A common error with many analytical models is to draw linkages between correlation and causation or indeed assert causality as a consequence of data analysis. Data analysis asks ‘what’ questions that needs to be linked to demand analysis’s pursuit of ‘why’ to authenticate findings.
